SOMAscan StandardTM
We offer potential clients and collaborators early access to our powerful technology via SOMAscan Standard, which currently contains 300 distinct SOMAmers that capture proteins of interest, and is assayed using our SOMAscan technology. The SOMAscan Standard assay has been extensively utilized for proteomic studies in the following sample types:
- EDTA plasma
- Citrate plasma
- Serum
- CSF
- Tissue homogenate
- Cell Lysates
- Conditioned cell media
We have successfully tested, but are still optimizing, the following sample types:
- Whole blood
- Bronchoalveolar lavage
- Plaque extract
- Synovial fluid
Additionally, our technology has been applied to:
- Non-human primates
- Model Organisms – mouse, rat, etc.
- Pathogens
