"David possesses a lifetime of experience within the health care delivery arena," stated Dr. Larry Gold, SomaLogic's Chairman of the Board and Chief Scientific Officer. "He also thoroughly understands the goals and objectives of SomaLogic in addition to the global benefits of our technology. His thought-provoking book, "From Chaos to Care: The Promise of Team-Based Medicine" describes both the strengths and the shortcomings of healthcare systems in developed countries, and provides a bold, clear prescription for how to improve these systems. David's vision for the role of diagnostics is consistent with SomaLogic's world view. We are confident that this shared understanding, coupled with his vast experience and knowledge of the field, will provide SomaLogic with both partnership opportunities and a chance to solve some of the more difficult issues we all face."
