SOMALOGIC, INC. ACQUIRES EXCLUSIVE RIGHTS TO
DNA MODIFICATION CHEMISTRY PATENTS
(BOULDER, CO) SomaLogic, Inc., a privately held proteomics company, has
significantly expanded its intellectual property base by acquiring an
exclusive license to several key foreign and domestic patents that enable
the development of aptamers with enhanced chemical diversity. These DNA
modification chemistries have been integrated into the proprietary SELEX™
process and are expected to improve aptamer performance for virtually
any protein target.
“This new DNA modification technology will make our aptamer identification

efforts to expand the content of our aptamer arrays and discover protein-based
