SomaLogic does not, at this time, collect any personal information from users of
its website. If you contact SomaLogic via e-mail, either directly or using one of
the links provided on a web page, SomaLogic may retain a copy of your e-mail address
for its records and to facilitate timely communication with you. Following an initial
contact via e-mail, SomaLogic may, from time to time, provide you with updates related
to your field of inquiry.
SomaLogic conducts all of its clinical trials and collection of samples under the
guidance of one or more review boards. In addition to SomaLogic's own review board,
certain activities may fall under the institutional review boards (IRBs) of
cooperating institutions, such as hospitals and research institutes. Patient confidentiality
is maintained in these processes and informed consent is sought for all prospectively
gathered samples. Where possible, informed consent for historically gathered samples is
confirmed. Patient information that can be associated with an individual is not released
without the prior consent of the individual or his or her authorized representatives or
agents, such as a physician.
While SomaLogic has not yet commercialized its Clinical Diagnosticts
products and services, the company recognizes the extreme sensitivity
of healthcare records and the results of diagnostic tests. SomaLogic
will not release the results of tests and assays that can be associated
with a particular individual other than to the individual or his or
her authorized representatives or agents, such as a physician.
