SomaLogic, Inc., is looking for a seasoned receptionist to fill a critical communications team role at our growing company. As a member of the SomaLogic communications team, the successful applicant will primarily attend to visitors and deal with inquiries on the phone and face to face. He/she will also be a primary supplier of general information regarding SomaLogic to the general public, clients and customers, as well as helping with internal communications to employees.
Primary Tasks and Responsibilities
▪ answer telephone, screen and direct calls professionally and personably
▪ take and relay messages accurately
▪ provide accurate and helpful information to callers
▪ greet persons entering SomaLogic
▪ direct persons to correct destination
▪ deal with queries from the public, media and customers
▪ general administrative and clerical support as needed
▪ prepare letters, documents, press releases, etc., as needed
▪ help organize company meetings and special events
▪ maintain the reception area
▪ other tasks as assigned
Required education and experience
▪ high school diploma generally required
▪ verifiable experience of administrative and clerical procedures
▪ verifiable experience of computers and relevant software applications (Microsoft Office)
▪ verifiable experience of customer service principles and best practices
