The potential applications of our SOMAmer technology are limited only by the imagination (ours and our collaborators) and the availability of good clinical samples for discovery and development. Although SomaLogic is primarily focused on building and marketing new clinical diagnostics, we are dedicated to sharing our technology with the biopharmaceutical industry to accelerate drug discovery and development (see Services).
Our technology has already been successfully applied to finding serum- or plasma-based protein biomarker signatures of a variety of diseases and uncovering the molecular effects of potential new drugs under development by our current partners.
