Managing Senior Director, Key and Strategic Accounts
Work Location: Boulder, Colorado, and other unanticipated locations across the U.S. (may work remotely from anywhere in the U.S.)
Job Duties: Direct Key and Strategic Account Management, including driving revenue growth, expanding the breadth of SomaLogic services and products, and increasing share of wallet, client advocacy, and client satisfaction with all aspects of SomaLogic’s delivery of services and products. Provide global leadership and oversight for Key and Strategic Accounts across all of SomaLogic, serving as a single point of accountability/responsibility. Lead development of the client account strategies and solutions. Strategize with SomaLogic Executives to drive engagement and collaboration and develop and maintain, in collaboration with key internal stakeholders, the strategic Account Plan. Provide goal alignment between sponsors and SomaLogic. Proactively initiate activities with key decision makers within the client strategic account and lead efforts in forecasting for SomaLogic’s strategic accounts. Lead prospective solutioning efforts, drive joint value creation, and build the accounts qualified pipeline. Develop and manage remediation plans. Supervise and manage a minimum of 2 employees, including Key and Strategic Account Directors.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Primary Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Life Sciences, Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field; and 5 years of progressive, post-bachelorette experience selling life science solutions globally to large pharmaceutical companies. (Experience may be gained in the position of Managing Senior Director, Key and Strategic Accounts or any strategic life science sales-related job title.)
Other Special Skills or Requirements: Position also requires functional expertise (5 years’ experience) in: Selling protein detection products and services (including at least one of the following: ELISA, Luminex, IHC); the workflow related to drug discovery, development, and commercialization; creating and coordinating relationships and business at large, multi-site clients; aligning local scientific sales representatives to implement strategy across the client sites; developing and implementing sales processes and procedures to drive business in key accounts; and pipeline, forecast, account, contact, and opportunity management in Salesforce.com or other standardized CRM platform.
Domestic and international travel required up to 50%. May work remotely from anywhere in the U.S. May work at various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.
Offered salary range $227,282 to $254,400 per year. Employer offers benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401k savings plan; company-paid holidays and company-provided PTO.
